Phil 4:6 KJV “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”.

Phil 4:6 AMP “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God

A few years ago I use to hear people say, ‘if you are going to worry then don’t pray and if you are going to pray then don’t worry’. That saying sums up this verse. As the Bible instructs in Lk 18:1 that ‘men ought to always pray’. It, prayer, has been a part of me since the beginning. Prayer is a part of my DNA, physical make up.

I am to pray about everything and don’t worry about anything. WHY, some may ask?…Because God is all knowing, powerful, and all that I need. So I don’t have to worry because I have the Almighty God on my side. So why do I have to worry? Guess what? I don’t. Once I give it over to the Lord in prayer, made my requests known, remove my hands off it, and thank God for it…then it is out of my hands. The Lord will complete, correct, re-orchestrate, redecorate, and do all that needs to be. Just like the words of that old song says, “Jesus will work it out”.

God bless,

JRLL ❤

I am follower if Jesus Christ, wife, and mother. I enjoy spending QT with bff and lover, Andrew, and our 2 sons. My favorite pass times are reading and watching movies. But my soul purpose is living my life fully for Christ, so that he may be glorified. So as I share what is on my heart, my prayer is that you may see the God in me and not me. Be blessed and enjoy!
