James 1:3 [AMP]

James 1:3 [AMP]
Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

Be encouraged today, that by being tried in the fire is stirring patience up. Its producing patience and enables you to withstand whatever may come your way. Trust the word and stand firmly upon it. Don’t waver, doubt, or fret. For God is with, if only you believe in faith.

I’m praying for you all to withstand and pass the test. So that when you come out on the other side, your testimony will be used to encourage, deliver, and bring hope to others.

Have a joyous Sunday,

Faith is the radar that sees through the fog.” Corrie Ten Boom

So much within the body of Christ is based upon our faith. Jesus said, “…if ye shall have faith as a mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Mat 17:20 kjv

As a believer, I must have faith in what I can’t see in the natural. Heb 11:1 Meaning that my entire way of thinking must be centered on the things of God. The reason being, is so that I may see everything through my spiritual eyes which see as the Spirit leads me to see. For He open the eyes of the blind. I must have faith in the God I serve, for Him to work on behalf when I go to Him in prayer.

Enjoy your weekend,

“I am with you,” declares the Lord.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people [who had returned from exile], listened carefully and obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, since the Lord their God had sent him. And the people [reverently] feared the Lord. Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, spoke the Lord’s message to the people saying, β€œ β€˜I am with you,’ declares the Lord.” – Haggai 1:12-13 AMP

The children of Israel had come out of exile but had gotten into a rut. They allowed their focus to change from the things of God unto the I own desires. The temple were in ruins and yet their houses were established. Then God spoke to the chosen and the remnant to encourage them to do what was required. To revive them and to put the focus on what was important.

Sadly, the same is taking place today. Just take a close at some of the churches and their buildings. How many empty churches do you see within your community? How many churches sprung up but fall into disarray? How many believers start the race but does not continue in the race?

So for the remnant of believers who are saying and living the saying for God I live and for God I die, stay the course. Lift up each other in prayer and supplication before the Lord. Encourage each other and help each other. We can’t do it alone. We must be connected to others. For we are a body of believer’s focused on making heaven our home. God is with us. We just have to stay connected.

Have a wonderful Friday,

Our hope

Our hope as believers is to enter into an eternal rest. The Greek word used for rest in this passage is sabbatismos which means keeping sabbath, the bless rest from toils and troubles looked for in the age to come by the true worshippers of God and true Christian’s.

  1. So this is our hope as believers that we enter into an eternal rest. But we must hold on to it until the end. For this hope is our very anchor to keep ourselves going. Telling ourselves continuously to not give up, to keep going, not to focus on what others think or say, but to hold on to it with all that I have.

So today, my prayer is that everyone holds on to their hope. For those who do not know of, have, this hope to be brought into this hope. That every Christian walk in the assurance of this hope and be a light unto this dark world. That we as believer’s will stand firm on the hope that we have until the very end.

A work in progress

Continuously do I seek. Searching for you, in order to hide myself in you. Daily do I humble myself at your feet. Bowed in reverence and fear. Praying unto you and ask forgiveness for anything that I have done that was not right before you. Speaking the words written upon my heart, that I can only give to you. Words that flow from the inner most of me unto my Creator. The Creator of heaven and the earth.

I quiet myself so that I may hear you clearly. I close my eyes and open them to see as you see. I avail myself unto you for your will to be done through me and not my own. I am learning obedience unto you in all things concerning me. I know and understand that by going through, I learn out to be obedient. I place my trust and faith in you.

New project

I don’t know how many times I have tried to learn how to knit. Well, once again I am trying it again. 😊 So as I take this journey for the umpteenth time wish me the best.

Where my trust lay…

In all things I place my trust fully, unadulterated, in my Redeemer. I know he is my Redeemer and I look to him first in all things. I will not waver, doubt. I stand firm in the assurance that he lives and is in complete control.

My prayer is that everyone have a great weekend. Spending time with those you hold dear and seek the glory of God in all that you do.

The deeper I tread, the more I see.

With each step a fresh wave of the ambience is being revealed.

The deeper I tread the more I see.

For my steps are in divine order.

The deeper I tread the more I see.

My mind is clear and ready for what may come.

The deeper I tread the more I see

That I must sit back and watch what the hands of time will place on display for all to see.

The deeper I tread the more is being revealed.

Waiting patiently to be used to build up and not down.
