Covenant established by God

I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Genesis 9:13‭-‬15 NKJV

To be IN God is to be set apart. The things that I use to do, I cannot do anymore. Those things that without a shadow of a doubt will lead me down the wrong path, I cannot allow myself to be tempted by them. I must be set apart, holy, and ready to be used by God. I must be set apart, holy, and an example of God upon the earth for all of mankind to see.

I must be holy just like my Lord is holy.  I serve a mighty God, the True and Living God. The Creator of heaven and the earth. He is my Lord, Savior, and Redeemer.

James 1:3 [AMP]

James 1:3 [AMP]
Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

Be encouraged today, that by being tried in the fire is stirring patience up. Its producing patience and enables you to withstand whatever may come your way. Trust the word and stand firmly upon it. Don’t waver, doubt, or fret. For God is with, if only you believe in faith.

I’m praying for you all to withstand and pass the test. So that when you come out on the other side, your testimony will be used to encourage, deliver, and bring hope to others.

Have a joyous Sunday,

Our hope

Our hope as believers is to enter into an eternal rest. The Greek word used for rest in this passage is sabbatismos which means keeping sabbath, the bless rest from toils and troubles looked for in the age to come by the true worshippers of God and true Christian’s.

  1. So this is our hope as believers that we enter into an eternal rest. But we must hold on to it until the end. For this hope is our very anchor to keep ourselves going. Telling ourselves continuously to not give up, to keep going, not to focus on what others think or say, but to hold on to it with all that I have.

So today, my prayer is that everyone holds on to their hope. For those who do not know of, have, this hope to be brought into this hope. That every Christian walk in the assurance of this hope and be a light unto this dark world. That we as believer’s will stand firm on the hope that we have until the very end.

Good Friday

And they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull. Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it. And when they crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take. Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above: THE KING OF THE JEWS. With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And He was numbered with the transgressors.” And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, “Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!” Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him. Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Some of those who stood by, when they heard that, said, “Look, He is calling for Elijah!” Then someone ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink, saying, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take Him down.” And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!” There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome, who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem. Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.
Mark 15:22‭-‬47 NKJV

May we keep the real meaning at the forefront of our hearts and minds.

Be blessed,

Thank you, Lord, for your sacrifice and your unconditional love!

Yet, will I…

I watched a message by Pastor Lentz from Hillsong NY yesterday that put a spin on all that I have been going through as of late.

A portion of his message really hit home. The part where he’s discussing feelings. I don’t feel like doing this or I don’t feel like that. Well, that really hit home. When I think about me and some of the things that I say…well, I often find myself saying I don’t feel like… But what if, Jesus didn’t feel like coming to earth and paying the price for my sins? (In my Wild Krats voice)

Please, let me take a moment to wipe my face. 😢

Oh, I am so grateful that Jesus did not function in his feeling or emotions. He came and accomplished all that the Father set before him.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for walking the path before me in my feelings. Forgive me for not fully placing my faith and trust in you. So today, I command myself to be sure in you and walk the path with boldness. I will stand upon your word and praise you, for you are my God!

PS 42:7-8, 11

7. Deep calleth unto the deep, at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

8. Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

11. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Psalms 1:2

But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 1:2 KJV

But my delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth I meditate day and night.

My desire is to walk rightly before God and man. I may or may not fall short, but end goal is to walk upright. In order to accomplish this from minute to minute, hour to hour, and day to day I must apply the Word to each step that I take.

In order to apply the Word, I must read, study, and meditate on the Word. This is to ensure that I am apply the Word correctly and within context. The Word is the very air and water in which every Christian should live by. Its not just a book to be read at an individuals leisure. I’ve heard someone say that the Word is a book full of stories and it’s not Instrumental for daily living. Well, in my mind, I’m thinking that obviously they have not read it. For the Word is living and breathing.

The Word when applied to my daily walk, changes things. My outlook on the. day changes and my appearance physically changes. It places situations in my life into perspective. My eyesight changes to look at things from naturally to spiritually. I have decided that I cannot walk in anyway contrary to my Lord and Savior. So I must stand flat footed on, in, the Word. So I think on and apply the Word continuously throughout my day.

Have a wonderful day family,
